In class we are looking at Transformations this term and part of this has been working on enlargements.  As a class we were all given a piece of paper with a part of a picture. We had to enlarge it by a scale factor of 7 on a new piece of paper.  We then put them all together as a class to see how close we were to the original picture.

We are learning about the body systems in class at the moment.  Room 6 has had a focus on the circulatory system and so we made blood in class to understand how it works.

The red blood cells carry oxygen, and cause the plasma(yellow liquid) to turn red.  The white blood cells(leukocytes) are fewer than the red and are used for fighting disease(the immune system). Platelets are also part of the blood and help with the clotting wen your body has a wound.  They are like plugs in the blood vessels.
